Class System at a Glance

How Promotion Works

Every character starts as a base class. At Job Level 50, each base class can promote into one advanced job. The only exception is Weaver, which any base class can become — but it replaces your normal advanced path.

  • Base classes receive 50 job points to spend.
  • Advanced classes receive up to 120 job points combined.
  • You cannot unlock every skill in a tree; specialization is required.
  • Respecs are available through the Waybinder beneath the fountain in Nevaris.

Role Overview

Tanks

Tank

Knight → Paladin

The backbone of any serious boss fight. Tanks hold threat, block damage, and protect the party from mechanics that would otherwise wipe a glass-cannon composition.

Healers

Healer

Acolyte → Priest

Priest keeps the party alive through holy heals, cleanses, and buffs. Acolyte is the early version with lighter tools but the same core identity.

Melee DPS

Melee DPS

Warrior → Berserker, Rogue → Shinobi

Berserker trades defense for raw damage and rage mechanics. Shinobi trades survivability for stealth, speed, and burst assassination.

Ranged DPS

Ranged DPS

Scout → Gunslinger, Mage → Wizard

Gunslinger controls physical range with firearms and traps. Wizard controls elemental range with devastating AoE spells.

Summoners & Hybrids

Summoner

Summoner → Necromancer, Weaver

Necromancer wins through minions and decay. Weaver breaks the promotion rules entirely, enabling experimental hybrid autocast builds from any base class.

Frequently Asked

quiz

Can I change my class later?

You can reset your stats and skill points through the Waybinder beneath the fountain in Nevaris. However, changing your advanced class is currently restrictive — choose your promotion path carefully.

quiz

Can I unlock every skill in a class tree?

No. Each class has more skills than available job points, so every character must specialize. Base classes receive 50 points; advanced classes receive up to 120 points combined.

quiz

What is the best class?

There is no single best class. SpiritVale’s balance depends on gear, cards, artifacts, party composition, and content. Pick a playstyle you enjoy.

quiz

What makes Weaver different?

Weaver is not tied to any base class. Any base class can become a Weaver, and it is built around hybrid autocast gameplay rather than a single traditional role.

quiz

Should I pick a base class based on its advanced job?

Yes. Since you are committing to one promotion path, choose the base class whose advanced job matches the fantasy you want to play at endgame.

quiz

How do I respec?

Find the Waybinder NPC beneath the fountain in Nevaris. Bring the required respec item or gold cost, and you can rebuild your skill tree within the same class.
